"The Ways" are symbolic of the paths that each and all of us take. It is an acknowledgment that no matter what we have done or where we have been, all of those moments and steps have brought us here, to the Labyrinth of the Ways.
Contained within the walls of the Labyrinth are stones and offerings from all across the country and the world. There are rocks from at least 33 states, Canada, Egypt, England, a piece was dedicated from the Berlin wall and a piece of the World Trade Center and more from who knows where.
The Labyrinth is a culmination of many energies and efforts. Of sweat, love, loss, aggression and above all growth of self & community.
Please feel free to add your Ways to ours. Leaving a piece of your journey whether it stone or gem, trinket or something you need to let go of, it's what the Ways are for.
A Spiritual Walk
There is no “right” way to walk a labyrinth. Simply walking one is an acknowledgement of Self. The Labyrinth is a means to reflect on your own inner & life journey. A Labyrinth walk is a solo journey. With each step, each bend, rock & breath the Ways. Take your time, there is no rush. Walk with an open mind & heart. One way to look at your Labyrinth journey is: Your walk in is your path leading up to now.
Your past choices, experiences, feelings and life are all behind you. Anything you don’t want to hold onto anymore can be let go of. Your journey inward should be liberating. Freeing yourself from stress, worry, negativity & that which hold you back. Breathe. The Center awaits you. The Center is now. In the Center focus on your Self. Your Ways that got you here & now. Take some time. Breathe. Your path out is where your ready yourself for what comes next. When you walk a labyrinth, you never leave the same as when you entered. Change is part of the path.
